Professor Tsang Keung Chan is an assistant professor in Physics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was an Inaugural Margaret Burbidge Fellow at the University of Chicago, and a post-doctoral research associate at the Institute of Computation Cosmology, Durham University. He earned his PhD in physics at the University of California, San Diego. His research interests center around astrophysical simulations of the universe, stars, galaxies, and dark matter. By comparing his numerical simulations with observations, he aims to unveil the nature of dark matter, inflation, and the underlying processes of galaxy formation.
