Joao Lucio dos Santos

Joao Lucio dos Santos is an associate professor C - Level I at the Federal University of Campina Grande (Campina Grande Campus), and a permanent member of the doctoral programs in Physics and in Mathematical Physics at UFCG. He holds a PhD in Particles and Fields Theory from the Federal University of Paraíba (João Pessoa Campus) in 2013, with a seven-month PhD period at the University of Rochester, a Master of Science in Particles and Fields Theory and a Bachelor of Physics from São Paulo State University (Guaratinguetá Campus). After his PhD he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Federal University of Paraíba (João Pessoa Campus) in 2014. Lucio dos Santos served as coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Physics at UFCG (2018–2022, 2024–2025) and is currently a CAPES Humboldt Fellow at Leibniz University Hannover and the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
