Hyeonseok Seong research focuses on the phenomenological and theoretical aspects of new physics beyond the Standard Model. While his work has primarily developed around axion physics, he strives to maintain a broad interest in various BSM scenarios. After obtaining his PhD at KAIST, he has continued his research as a postdoc at the Institute for Basic Science in Korea (2021–2022), DESY (2022–2025), and HKUST (2025–).
