Mingyong Zhou is the founder of Celatlas Genomics and holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Zhejiang University. He specialises in the development of single-cell and spatial omics technologies and leads Celatlas as a bio-manufacturing enterprise focused on spatial omics solutions. The company has pioneered “microbead-based spatial encoding” technology, which offers high resolution, sensitivity, and cost-effectiveness, establishing significant advantages over conventional methods. This platform facilitates breakthroughs in biomedical research, drug discovery, and molecular pathology, with particular relevance to neurodegenerative diseases, immunotherapy, cancer screening and diagnostics, developmental biology, and reproductive health. Under Zhou’s leadership, Celatlas has emerged as a domestic leader in 10 µm high-resolution, high-sensitivity spatial omics solutions, propelling the advancement of the next generation of precision medicine and translational research.
