Zhenyu Yang currently serves as a thoracic surgeon at West China Hospital, Sichuan University. Zhenyu earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in Surgery from West China Hospital, Sichuan University, and is currently in his postdoctoral research stage. As a clinician, he focuses on clinical problems related to early-stage lung cancer: diagnosis, surgical strategy selection, and prognostic biomarker exploration. In basic research, he conducts bioinformatics analyses, including single-cell and spatial omics, to uncover potential therapeutic targets, define molecular subtypes, and construct disease-progression prediction models. Together with Professor Gao Zhang, he constructed a pan-cancer brain metastasis bulk multi-omics landscape encompassing over 1,000 cases.
