Wanqi Yang (杨婉琪)
Fudan University
Wangqi Yang obtained her BSc in Basic Medical Sciences from Fudan University in 2025. In her forthcoming doctoral studies, she will investigate the dynamic microenvironment of leptomeningeal metastasis, focusing on how tumor cells exploit the leptomeningeal niche. By integrating single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial transcriptomics, and advanced neurobiological techniques, she aims to uncover tumor-microenvironment signaling circuits that drive immune evasion and therapeutic resistance. Her insights will inform rational, cancer-cell-targeted regimens and contribute to the development of precision therapies that prolong survival for patients with leptomeningeal metastasis and other central nervous system malignancies. Wangqi is committed to advancing her career in cancer biology or translational medicine, with a goal of developing more effective therapies for brain metastases.
