Hongbin Lan (蓝鸿彬)
University of Hong Kong
Hongbin Lan is currently a PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on investigating the mechanisms underlying resistance to immunotherapy in melanoma and elucidating the molecular pathways driving brain metastasis, with a particular emphasis on characterising the tumor microenvironment of brain metastases at a single-cell and spatially resolved level. To achieve these objectives, Hongbin is committed to employing a comprehensive multi-omics strategy, integrating technologies such as whole-exome sequencing (WES), RNA sequencing (RNA-seq), digital spatial profiling (DSP), cyclic immunofluorescence (CyCIF), and 10x Genomics Visium spatial transcriptomics. Her work aims to identify novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers.
