Gang Chen

Gang Chen is Professor and Vice Dean at the School and Hospital of Stomatology, Wuhan University, and principal investigator at the State Key Laboratory of Oral & Maxillofacial Reconstruction and Regeneration and TaiKang Center for Life and Medical Sciences. He serves as President of the Hubei Province(E) Society for Extracellular Vesicles and Vice Chair of the Society of Stomatological Education, Chinese Stomatological Association. A recipient of the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars and Hubei Distinguished Young Scholar Award, Prof. Chen focuses on extracellular vesicles and tumor immunity. He has published over 60 SCI papers as first or corresponding author, including Nature, Nature Immunology, Nature Communications, Cell Reports Medicine, and JACS. He led a randomized phase II trial of neoadjuvant immunotherapy in OSCC and currently coordinates a multicenter phase III trial. His team developed a fully automated exosome isolation system, winning the 2023 Hubei Technological Invention Award (Second Prize).
