Dainan Zhang (张岱男)

Dainan Zhang is an associate professor of Neurosugery at Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University. He obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from Trinity College Dublin (2012-2016), following a postdoctoral fellowship at Capital Medical University (2017–2019). Zhang’s research focuses on neuro-oncology, particularly glioblastoma and brain metastases. He leads a sub-project under the National Quality Infrastructure System Special Program (2022–2026), exploring digital standard reference libraries for characteristic biomolecules. As a key contributor to multiple high-impact studies, he has published as a sole first author or corresponding author in journals like Cancer Letters, Oncogenesis. Notable works include integrative proteomic analyses of lung adenocarcinoma brain metastases and investigations into molecular mechanisms regulating glioblastoma.
