During my PhD, I have primarily used R and shell scripting language to perform analysis, including quality control of array data, the identification of genetic and epigenetic markers associated with kidney disease, and risk prediction model construction. My current research focuses on exploring the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Specifically, I aim to identify genetic and epigenetic markers associated with ESRD through Methylome-Wide Association Studies (MWAS) and Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS). These markers can help identify patients at a higher risk of rapidly progressing to ESRD, potentially aiding in the development of healthcare strategies to delay the progression of chronic kidney disease.
