Sanxing Gao is a graduate of University of Hong Kong (HKU) with a research background in cancer immunotherapy, focusing on enhancing immune cell infiltration and immune priming for solid tumors, specifically liver cancer. His experience includes contributing to a project at SUSTech on Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T cell therapy for melanoma. Currently, Sanxing's research centers on harmonizing different immune cell types to combat liver cancer, utilizing single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) and spatial transcriptomics to decipher cell–cell communication. He aims to explore synergies between his research and clinical trials to advance cancer treatment technologies.
