Qidong Li is a final-year PhD student in the Department of Pathology at University of Hong Kong (HKU), working under the supervision of Professor Jack Wong. His research focuses on the epigenetics and chromatin structure of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Qidong's research interests encompass transdifferentiation during liver regeneration, dedifferentiation in liver cancer development, 3D genomics, chromatin biology, single-cell multiomics, and spatial multiomics. Receiving dual training in both wet-lab and dry-lab techniques, he aspires to become a genomics researcher driving the clinical translation of genomic medicine
