Qidong Li (李啟東)
University of Hong Kong
I'm currently a final-year PhD student at the University of Hong Kong, working in the Department of Pathology under the supervision of Professor Jack Wong. My research focuses on the epigenetics and chromatin structure of hepatocellular carcinoma. My interests include transdifferentiation during liver regeneration, dedifferentiation in liver cancer development, epigenetics, 3D genomics, chromatin biology, single-cell multiomics, and spatial multiomics. Under my supervisor's guidance, I am receiving dual training in both wet and dry lab techniques. In the future, I aspire to become a genomics researcher, contributing to the clinical translation of genomic medicine, especially with the rise of single-cell and spatial omics.
