Jeff Lam (林睿朗)
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Jeff is a post-doctoral fellow at the Division of Life Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is focusing on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) research, utilising cutting-edge techniques such as multi-omics and super-resolution microscopy. His work aims to deepen our understanding of the underlying mechanisms in AD. One of Jeff’s recent interests is investigating the effects of different variants of the apolipoprotein E (apoE) using a range of in vitro cellular and in vivo mouse models. Notably, apoE4 is recognized as the strongest genetic risk factor for developing AD, and Jeff seeks to explore the specific role of apoE variants and their implications in AD progression.
