I am Fei-Ling Yap from Malaysia and I would like to apply for the Croucher Advanced Study Institute: Technology in development and disease, 12-15 November 2024 at University of Hong Kong. I am currently an Assistant Professor in University of Nottingham Malaysia. My research areas are stem cell immunology, cell-based therapy and cancer immunotherapy. By participating the course, various advanced technologies in analyzing cell populations both at genomic and single-cell level will be discussed and will enhance my knowledge and research skills in the field of stem cell biology and disease development. Besides, the course will provide me a wonderful platform to meet and learn from the experts and allowing idea exchange and networking with the participants. Subsequently, it may lead to future research cooperation. Therefore, I hope to be considered favourably for this application.
