Sin Hang Fung is a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences (2023) and B.Sc. in Biochemistry (2019) from the same institution. Sin Hang's research focuses on developing HLA class-I epitope binding prediction algorithms and multi-omics analysis in clinical studies. She has also worked on single-cell DNA sequencing to investigate genetic variations in myelodysplastic syndrome during disease progression. She is particularly interested in addressing the disparity between real-world applications and computational algorithms, aiming to develop more accurate and reliable bioinformatics tools. Her interdisciplinary background positions her well to bridge the gap between computational and experimental approaches.
