On-site registration

  • Time: 09:00 - 09:30 on 12 November 2024
  • Venue: Boardroom, 1/F, Daniel & Mayce Yu Administration Wing, 21 Sassoon Road, Pokfulam
Course start and finish times
  • The course will open with a brief ceremony at 9:30 on Tuesday 12 November.
  • Please note that the course ends at 17:00 on Friday 15 November.
  • Please arrange your travel to and from Hong Kong to enable you to attend the entire course.
Tips for making the most of a Croucher ASI
  • Engage actively: Participate in discussions, ask questions, and engage with speakers and fellow participants to deepen your understanding.
  • Network: Take advantage of networking opportunities to build relationships with other postdoc scientists and experts in the field.
  • Prepare in advance: Complete any pre-event reading and familiarise yourself with the technical requirements to ensure you're ready to participate fully.
  • Take notes: Keep detailed notes during sessions to help you remember key points and ideas for later reference.
  • Follow up: After the event, follow up with new contacts and review your notes to reinforce what you've learned.
  • Stay open-minded: Be open to new ideas and approaches, and be willing to step out of your comfort zone to explore new concepts.
  • Balance learning and rest: Make sure to balance intensive learning sessions with adequate rest to maintain your energy and focus throughout the course.
