Weijie Sun (孙维婕)

Weijie Sun is currently a Research Assistant at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, School of Architecture. Her research interests focus on studies and analysis of the urban built environment, and the interpretation of climate change’s influences on preservation activities. She aims to explore how the historic districts or cities address present-day environmental issues and explore approaches from different perspectives for sustainable urban renewal. Weijie graduated from Columbia University, United States in 2024, holding a Master of Science in Historic Preservation degree. She received a Bachelor of Engineering degree majoring in Urban Design and Planning from Southeast University, China in 2022.
