Junhong Wang
National University of Singapore
My name is Junhong Wang and I am studying in Master of Urban Planning in the National University of Singapore. As a Cantonese, inspired by Lingnan Architects and Urban Planners, I am cultivating the interest in ecological city and green architecture. I wish to apply my knowledge and technology to urban planning and design practice in the future for improving the urban thermal comfort and reducing energy consumption. At the undergraduate and graduate level, I used some software such as ENVI-met, QGIS and Grasshopper to simulate or analydse the urban thermal and wind environment. But I still want to learn some new techniques such as LiDAR to solve the problems of thermal comfort or air pollution. I am very grateful if I can have a basic understanding of it via this course.
