Junhong Wang
National University of Singapore
Junhong Wang is studying a master of urban planning in the National University of Singapore. As a Cantonese, inspired by Lingnan architects and urban planners, he aspires to cultivate the public's interest in ecological city and green architecture. He aims to apply his knowledge and technology to urban planning and design practice in the future to improve urban thermal comfort and reduce energy consumption. At the undergraduate and graduate level, Junhong used software such as ENVI-met, QGIS and Grasshopper to simulate or analyse the urban thermal and wind environment. He still wants to learn new techniques such as LiDAR to solve the problems of thermal comfort or air pollution. He believes he can gain a basic understanding of it via this course.
