Shuang Liu (刘爽)
University of Hong Kong
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Architecture, University of Hong Kong, under the supervision of Chao Ren. Having earned my Ph.D. in Landscape Architecture from South China University of Technology, I am currently dedicated to investigating the health risks associated with extreme weather events, particularly among elderly populations, and exploring potential adaptation strategies. My research interests primarily revolve around the impact of urban landscape characteristics, such as blue and green spaces, on outdoor thermal environments and human thermal comfort. I am particularly intrigued by the regulatory mechanisms and effects of these urban elements on microclimate and human well-being.
