Ruoyu You received her bachelor of engineering degree from Tsinghua University and her PhD degree from Purdue University. She joined Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an assistant professor in September 2018. Her research interests include airborne infectious disease transmission in aircraft cabins, computational fluid dynamics, and urban microclimate. Ruoyu's research is supported by external competitive and collaborative research funding from the research grant council (RGC) of Hong Kong through early career scheme (ECS) and general research fund (GRF).
