Ruoyu You received her B.Eng. degree from the Department of Building Science at Tsinghua University and her Ph.D. degree from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. Ruoyu You joined the Department of Building Environment and Energy Engineering at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University as an assistant professor in September 2018. Her research interests include airborne infectious disease transmission in aircraft cabins, computational fluid dynamics, and urban microclimate. Ruoyu You's research is supported by external competitive and collaborative research funding from the Research Grant Council (RGC) of Hong Kong through Early Career Scheme (ECS) and General Research Fund (GRF).
