I pursued my academic journey in computer science, earning my bachelor's degree from West Bengal University of Technology, India, and my master's degree from Banasthali University, India. I then expanded my expertise by completing my Ph.D. in Earth and Atmospheric Science at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela, India. My doctoral research focused on "Advancing Severe Thunderstorm Prediction in Eastern India Using Satellite Observations and High-Resolution Models." This research endeavuors to enhance the accuracy of thunderstorm forecasting, exploring the intersection of satellite data and high-resolution modelling. The research topics include thunderstorm climatology, high-resolution weather modelling, land-use sensitivity analysis, and satellite data assimilation, underscoring significant contributions to atmospheric sciences.
