Patrick Fung is an urban designer at Planning Department of HKSAR Government, focusing on providing comments on the air ventilation assessments (AVA) submitted by public organisations or government departments with the assistance of our in-house AVA advisors. From June 2019 to September 2024, he worked in Fanling/Sheung & Yuen Long East District Planning Office, Planning Department, HKSAR Government. In this office, he used to undertake statutory planning and process development proposals including s 16 and s 12A planning applications, rezoning and amendments to outline zoning plans, engineering feasibility studies, etc. These tasks usually involve AVAs. From December 2005 to July 2011, he worked in the UD&L Section, Planning Department, HKSAR Government. He was involved in the feasibility study for establishment of air ventilation assessment system and the feasibility study for urban climatic map and standards for wind environment.
