Sarowar Jahan Apu
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology
I am Sarowar Jahan Apu, an architect, educator, and master's student in the Energy and Environment division at BUET. I currently serve as a Lecturer in the Department of Architecture at AIUB, where I teach design studio courses and provide training in architectural software like Rhino, Grasshopper, and ArchiCAD to encourage creativity and technical proficiency among students. My research focuses on sustainable urban development, with a specific interest in integrating solar-powered green rooftops to mitigate urban heat in dense cities like Dhaka's Uttara. I am passionate about urban resilience, energy-efficient design, and enhancing public space accessibility. Combining my academic pursuits and teaching, I strive to contribute to the development of sustainable and livable urban environments while inspiring future architects to embrace innovative and practical design solutions.
