Sarowar Jahan Apu is an architect, educator, and master's student in the energy and environment division at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at American International University (AIUB), where he teaches design studio courses and provides training in architectural software like Rhino, Grasshopper, and ArchiCAD to encourage creativity and technical proficiency among students. His research focuses on sustainable urban development, with a specific interest in integrating solar-powered green rooftops to mitigate urban heat in dense cities like Dhaka's Uttara. He is passionate about urban resilience, energy-efficient design, and enhancing public space accessibility. Combining his academic pursuits and teaching, he strives to contribute to the development of sustainable and livable urban environments while inspiring future architects to embrace innovative and practical design solutions.
