Lingye Yao (姚靈燁)

Lingye Yao is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Architecture, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, working under the guidance of Prof. Edward Ng. She got her Ph.D. degree in Landscape Architecture from South China University of Technology. Her research interests encompass Urban Climatic Design and Planning, particularly emphasising the integration of urban green-blue infrastructures. She also investigates the interplay between building energy performance and local climate, exploring feedback mechanisms that influence both. Committed to bridging the gap between science and practice, she aims to provide actionable insights for landscape designers, practitioners, and decision-makers, ultimately striving to create healthier, more sustainable living environments for communities.
