Kanang Sivula is an Application Manager for remote sensing products at Vaisala in Helsinki. She has driven numerous opportunities for Wind Lidar products especially the 3D scanning wind lidar (Vaisala WindCube Scan). Recently, Kanang has taken the Interim Head of Urban Resilience role and will lead Urban business for the company. From 2018 to 2023, Kanang served as R&D Manager and R&D Portfolio Manager for Soundings and IDS Product Areas, contributing significantly to the development of the RS41-E radiosonde models. She holds an MSc in Biotechnology from the Tokyo Institute of Technology (graduated in 2011). Kanang has a strong background in product development, project management and portfolio management.
