Jennifer Yip is a meteorologist with several years of experience in operational high-impact weather forecasting. She joined the Aviation Meteorological Innovative Solutions Division of Hong Kong Observatory last year, where she has contributed to the enhancement of an electronic flight bag app. The app provides flight crews with comprehensive and up-to-date meteorological observations and forecasts, improving the safety and efficiency of aviation transport. In addition, Yip conducts research on utilising radar observations to gain a better understanding of wind movements, specifically tailored for aviation users. She is committed to providing quality meteorological services to the aviation industry, ensuring that stakeholders have access to reliable weather information for safe and effective operations.
