Huihui Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Architectural Technology Science from the South China University of Technology and is currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the same institution. With an educational background in Urban and Rural Planning and Architecture, Zhao adopts a multidisciplinary approach in his research endeavours. His work primarily focuses on urban microclimates and human thermal comfort, with a particular emphasis on pedestrian experiences. Zhao investigates how various environmental factors and urban design elements influence the thermal comfort of individuals in outdoor spaces. Through a combination of field measurements, simulations, and data analysis, he seeks to understand the interactions between the built environment and human well-being. His research contributes to the development of strategies for creating more comfortable and sustainable urban areas, enhancing the quality of life for city residents.
