Henry Ibitolu
University of Edinburgh
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology and Climate Science and an EU Erasmus triple master's degrees in Urban Climate, Sustainability and Environmental Technology, I am currently finishing up my Joint PhD in Future Cities Engineering at the Universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Professionally, I have previously worked as a Remote Sensing consultant helping clients analyse all kinds of geospatial and other remotely sensed data. My research is focused on multi-scale modelling of urban climate and building energy models (BEM). Specifically, I am investigating the impact of sustainable porous earthen building materials on indoor building performance and outdoor microclimate through the dynamic coupling of CFD urban wind microclimate models with BEM. Nonetheless, I am interested to learn and share insights with like-minded wind CFD, urban climate and remote sensing professionals.
