Faculty member of the Environmental Management Program at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of the University of Sao Paulo (EACH-USP), in the areas of Environmental Modeling and Mathematics for Environmental Analysis. Researcher and advisor in the Graduate Program in Sustainability. PhD in Atmospheric Sciences by the Institute of Astronomy, Geophysics and Atmospheric Sciences of the University of Sao Paulo (IAG-USP). Post-doctorate in urban atmosphere modeling at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in Boulder, CO, US and in urban-ocean-atmosphere interactions in coastal cities at the Colorado University in Boulder, CO, US. Performs research on urban atmosphere, urban heat islands, ocean-atmosphere interaction, air quality, and air pollutant emissions. She works with numerical atmospheric models of meso and micro-scale, and oceanic and air quality numerical models.
