I am currently pursuing a PhD in Landscape Architecture at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, where my research focuses on thermal comfort in urban streets with varying surface characteristics and morphologies, specifically examining the presence or absence of vegetation. My academic journey includes a dual bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning, as well as a Master’s degree analysing the relationship between air pollution and housing textures. My research interests lie at the intersection of urban climate, ecological urbanisation, and sustainable urban design. I have actively participated in international projects and training programs on climate adaptation and nature-based solutions. Through my academic work and publications, I aim to contribute to the development of resilient urban environments and effective strategies for addressing urban climate challenges.
