Elif NurI Sarı is currently pursuing a PhD in landscape architecture at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, where her research focuses on thermal comfort in urban streets with varying surface characteristics and morphologies, specifically examining the presence or absence of vegetation. Her academic journey includes a dual bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and urban and regional planning, as well as a master’s degree analysing the relationship between air pollution and housing textures. Her research interests lie at the intersection of urban climate, ecological urbanisation, and sustainable urban design. She has actively participated in international projects and training programs on climate adaptation and nature-based solutions. Through her academic work and publications, she aims to contribute to the development of resilient urban environments and effective strategies for addressing urban climate challenges.
