Daniel Yoshida is an architect and urban planner who graduated from the University of São Paulo in 2017, with a master in architecture and urbanism from the same institution in 2022. During the undergraduate program, he conducted scientific initiation research at the Environmental Comfort and Energy Efficiency Laboratory (LABAUT/FAUUSP) for 2 years, with a CNPq AT-NM scholarship linked to the advisor's research grant, on the topic: the impact of vegetation on urban microclimates: quantification of the leaf area index by two indirect non-destructive methods. The master's thesis, titled green infrastructure: microclimatic effects for adaptation to climate change and plant health in an urban warming scenario, was funded by a FAPESP scholarship. Currently, he is a lecturer at the UNIFAAT University Center and a Technical Training IV-A scholarship holder at FAPESP (2024/01068-2) within the research project "resilience and adaptation to climate change in cities: time to act with nature-based solutions".
