I am a meteorologist responsible for development of applications for the creation and provision of meteorological information and services. I have been dealing with the processing and rendering of meteorological data, as well as the preparation and distribution of meteorological messages for the public of Hong Kong and the aviation community. I have been in touched with many generations of PCs, servers and networking equipment, their interconnection and application in different aspects of provision of meteorological information services. Some websites and mobile applications for aviation have gained popularity with the community and are being used by quite a number of airlines in Hong Kong.
