Annie Kong is a town planner in the HKSAR government. She is eager to learn more about the latest LiDAR technology and how it could be further applied to her work and advance her work accuracy and efficiency. When it comes to her work, LiDAR technology provides information on the geospatial context of the land which helps detect the changes in land formation level. By comparing the LiDAR information from CEDD, it helps detect if there is any filling of land and pond/excavation at the site. If there are changes in the site formation level, enforcement will be considered against the land owner and reinstatement may be necessary.
