Annie Kong (江思慧)
Planning Department
I am a town planner in the government. I would like to know more about the latest LiDAR technology and how it could be further applied to our work and advance our work accuracy and efficiency. When it comes to our work, LiDAR technology provides is information on the geospatial context of the land which helps detecting the changes in land formation level. By comparing the LiDAR information from CEDD, it helps us to detect if there is any filling of land and pond/excavation at the site. If there is changes in the site formation level, enforcement will be considered against the land owner and reinstatement may be necessary.
