Alice Cheung is the Air Ventilation Assessment Expert in the Planning Department of the HKSAR Government. Throughout the past 13 years working in the Planning Department, Cheung has provided expert advices and professional comments on AVAs carried out by consultants and project proponents. She also played an instrumental role in setting the framework and requirements of AVA submission to ensure a structured approach and easy-to-follow methodology are adopted by the private practitioners. Her outstanding services was commended by the Planning Department in 2019.
She is also a part-time lecturer and a dissertation supervisor of School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) of the City University of Hong Kong since 2007 in responsible for all teaching related works of both Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Sciences courses.
