Zhouyao Qian (錢洲曜)

Zhouyao Qian is currently a PhD student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), specialising in the application of artificial intelligence to digestive diseases. His research focuses on developing computer-aided systems for detection (CADe), diagnosis (CADx), and quantification (CADq), with broad interests in gastrointestinal bleeding, advanced endoscopic techniques, Helicobacter pylori infection, and the gut microbiome. By leveraging state-of-the-art deep learning and computer vision approaches, Zhouyao aims to build reliable AI tools that assist in the early detection, precise diagnosis, and quantitative assessment of gastrointestinal disorders. His long-term goal is to bridge the gap between AI innovation and clinical practice to improve patient care and treatment outcomes in gastroenterology.
