Yanjun Jiang

Dr. Yanjun Jiang earned her MPhil (2022) and PhD (2025) from the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Her research focuses on brain-body interactions, particularly the role of probiotics in pain management through the gut-brain axis. During her postgraduate studies, she contributed to several high-impact research projects, with findings published in leading journals such as Cell Host & Microbe, Science Translational Medicine (STM), and Nature Communications. Her work integrates neurobiology, microbiome research, and pain modulation mechanisms. Dr. Yanjun Jiang will soon join CUHK as a postdoctoral fellow, where she aims to expand her studies on gut-brain communication and its application in anesthesiology and critical care.
