Hong Kong Baptist University
I am a Ph.D. student in the TMLR group at Hong Kong Baptist University, under the supervision of Prof. Bo Han and in close collaboration with Prof. Jiangchao Yao. I am honored to be funded by the Talent 100 PhD Scholarship Scheme at Hong Kong Baptist University, which supports excellence in interdisciplinary research. My research focuses on developing trustworthy machine reasoning for scientific applications using foundation models (such as Large Language Models, LLMs, and Vision-Language Models, VLMs) to accelerate scientific discovery and applications in fields like biology and chemistry. Trustworthy machine reasoning encompasses key properties such as reasoning power, robustness, safety, and explainability. I am particularly interested in making these models more reliable and interpretable for scientific tasks.
