Xining Li (李溪宁)

Xining Li is a PhD candidate at Chinese University of Hong Kong, specialising in cancer research through single-cell technologies. His research focuses on unravelling the molecular mechanisms driving tumour development and metastasis. He holds a master’s degree in bioinformatics from University of Melbourne and he previously worked as a research assistant, where he applied single-cell sequencing to study neural regeneration. This work was published in Cell Reports, and he was recognised as co-first author. Xining is also interested in integrating AI and machine learning approaches to enhance data analysis and uncover novel biological insights. He looks forward to collaborating and exploring innovative, interdisciplinary strategies to advance cancer research.
