Ming Him Ng (吳明謙)

Ming Him Ng holds a BSc, MPhil, and PhD from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), specialising in molecular biology and biotechnology. His PhD research focused on the molecular mechanisms of antiviral innate immunity. Following his postdoctoral fellowship at HKU, he joined the Hospital Authority and is currently working as a Scientific Officer (Medical) in toxicology at Prince of Wales Hospital. As part of the Hong Kong Poison Control Centre, Ming collaborates closely with clinical toxicologists from various specialties, including internal medicine, emergency medicine, pathology, pharmacy, and traditional Chinese medicine. In addition to his work in biomedical sciences, he also obtained an LLB degree from the University of London in 2017, which adds a unique perspective to his multidisciplinary approach.
