Lizhen Zheng is a postdoctoral research fellow (honorary) at Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a senior scientific officer at Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation. She earned her PhD at CUHK under the supervision of Professor Qin Ling, and holds a master of science from CUHK, along with a bachelor of science from Shandong University. Lizhen's research focuses on preclinical studies aimed at the prevention and potential treatments of steroid-associated osteonecrosis using various animal models. She is also involved in developing functional biomaterials to address challenging clinical problems in the musculoskeletal system.
