Lizhen Zheng

Lizhen Zheng is a postdoctoral research fellow (honorary) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and a senior scientific officer at the Centre for Regenerative Medicine and Health, Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation. She earned her PhD from the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at CUHK under the supervision of Prof Qin Ling, and holds an MSc from the Department of Biomedical Engineering at CUHK, along with a BSc from the School of Life Sciences at Shandong University. Lizhen's research focuses on preclinical studies aimed at the prevention and potential treatments of steroid-associated osteonecrosis using various animal models. She is also involved in developing functional biomaterials to address challenging clinical problems in the musculoskeletal system.
