Liuyou Wang (王柳又)
Chinese University of Hong Kong
Liuyou Wang is a second-year PhD student in Biomedical Sciences at CUHK, focusing on neuronal plasticity. In her previous work, she investigated how CDKL5 deficiency alters the function of neurons and dendritic spines in the visual cortex. Looking ahead, Liuyou aims to deepen her understanding of how information is transmitted and transformed within neural circuits, as well as how to model these processes quantitatively. She is particularly interested in leveraging deep learning as a powerful tool to tackle complex problems in neuroscience. The ASI on biomedical AI, featuring lectures from leading scientists and opportunities for discussion, would provide an invaluable opportunity for her to broaden her skills and refine her research direction.
