Ken Ka Pang Chan

Ken Chan is a respiratory specialist with an interest in pleural medicine. Ken received general respiratory training at Prince of Wales Hospital and further sub-specialised training in pleural medicine at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Australia. Ken currently leads several projects on malignant pleural effusion and pleural infection. He has received several grants for developing new diagnostic strategies in various pleural effusions and studying the burden of pleural diseases in Hong Kong. Through this research, he endeavours to optimise patient outcomes by improving the standard of clinical care and promoting the public understanding of these diseases.
