Jue Shi (史珏)
Hong Kong Baptist University
Jue Shi is a professor at Hong Kong Baptist University. She received her bachelor of science in physics from Sun Yat-sen University and her PhD in biophysics from University of Michigan, Ann Abor. She then conducted her postdoctoral research at Harvard Medical School. Jue's main research interest is in biodynamics, which elucidates how molecular machineries organised as pathways/networks act dynamically within and between interacting cell types to control physiological and pathological responses in complex tissue micro-environments. Her research is at the unique juncture of biophysics, cell biology, cancer pharmacology and immunology, integrating cross-disciplinary techniques, methodologies and quantitative analysis to decipher the dynamic control underlying anticancer drug response and immuno-oncology.
