James Ling is a postdoctoral fellow at Chinese University of Hong Kong. He obtained his PhD in medical science at CUHK, specialising in the management of chronic disease with technology. He has contributed to the management of people with diabetes and chronic kidney disease. His work has been published in Med, Diabetes Care, and Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics. He is currently engaged in the management of young onset diabetes and type-1 diabetes, aiming to improve the glycaemic control and reduce hospitalisation rate. His research interest is to lower the burden on the management of chronic disease for both patients and caregivers with technology and wearables.
