Isaac Cheng

Isaac Cheng has been actively involved in rheumatology research at Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2014. His research primarily focuses on investigating co-morbidities in patients with inflammatory arthritis, with a particular emphasis on cardiovascular disease and radiographic damage. He utilises advanced imaging techniques such as high-resolution peripheral quantitative computed tomography (HR-pQCT) and low-dose computed tomography (ldCT) to study and evaluate these conditions in detail. Issac also possesses experience in conducting multi-centre clinical trials and managing regional registries. Since 2018, he has served as the facilitator of the APLAR SpA registry. He has presented his work at numerous international and regional rheumatology conferences. Notably, he received the Best Presenter award at the International Conference of Chinese Rheumatologist (ICCR) and the Best Abstract Award at the Asia Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR)
